Been rooting through me garage and came across me old Wickes vac
wet vac.jpg

Only ever used it dry but seemed to blow shiite all over. Trawled the web to try to find instructions for using it wet but no luck. Would anyone have any idea if you need a seperate filter or just need to take the bag out?

That's my one 🙂. Had it for years now. Great bit of kit. Just take the bag out.

Mine had a coarse foam filter(some later ones had an Expensive_extra cartridge)

Old filter failed--so wrapped a strip of foam,2 layers, and an old Nylon Childs T shirt stiched up+Big home made rubber bands.

Can get spray moments if too full/Soapy

T_shirt made better for saw dust, wet filter for a bit of fine dust!

(But i'm not a Pro so have time to faff about with after cleaning in a tub)

Yes it is an earlex and rebadged now and as plenty of others since. Amazing bit of kit for the price. Ours gave up only after clearing a 4 inch drain full of grease. I say gave up....rather we could not stand it in the van for the smell. It is waiting in a safe place for its next call of duty.
