Hi guys

Carrying out a landlord safety check today and I came across a wireless receiver just placed inside a boiler , not scorched and fully working a salus receiver

Is this allowed or what? I never seen any signs of damage burning or stress...

What do you think? Advised landlord best bet to have fitted outside

The installation looked really well done like a decent contractor done the work, bgas for example

Wouldn't know where to look for a definate answer, I guess the mis don't say you can so you can't.

Be interested to see other peoples takes on this.

Honeywell receiver should be 300mm away from boiler casing. This is because of interference.

It's strange to see a working salus, never mind one working while hidden in the boiler! Lol
