Hi
have been to look A house built circa 1999/2000 that gas a Y plan system open vent with ideal classic boiler but has no room stat just TRV's all over.
customer wants a wireless stat putting in- just asking which ones are best and easiest to install - siting of it not a problem as all gubbins in the airing cupboard
cheers

I prefer the honeywells

Agree honeywells are nice. Fitted a salus the other day that looked and felt cheap and was less expensive but worked just fine. Fitted a vunch of draytons but they were branded worcester as the receiver plugged straight in to the boiler fascia but the workings are the same as with the seperate receiver. Have had no issues with any of the above except for a couple of calls where the batteries have run out.

Siemens are gr8 if customers wife is fitty as you get to go back every two years! Honeywell are ok. Myson got my vote nowadays as Honeywell screens been going on units 3 plus years . Myson no orobs after 6! But might not be getting faulty ones ?
