lame plumber

Nothing to do with croppies fantasy septic tank, although she is rather pleasant on the eyes.

More to do with this godforsaken country and the fact no one is able to govern it successfully any more.

If I want to work on my flats and do some major repairs, they have been used and abused over the last 10 years, I have to pay bloody council tax at 50% rate despite not using the non existent council facilities.

The chancellor has also screwed my ability to get rid of them easily being he has raised stamp duty on second homes and reduced the tax allowance on interest for these properties. If I bought a bleedin mobile home and used it as an office I could claim back the interest but not if I want to rent out property, so the syrians are going to have to look elsewhere for a home now, they cant buy it off me as none of the banks will loan them the money anymore either.

Mr Brown beggared up any private pensions I ever had, so I boiught bricks and mortar instead, seems like I might have well gone on holiday 9 months a year and wasted all my money as there is little chance of making any now rom rent and the capital value will probably slump idc.

At least the yanks still have an ethos of hard work pays off and look after those that do work, in this land of stupidity it pays to do sweet fanny adams and watch all those that work paying for you for the privilege of being a skum bag.

yours faithfully, ****ed off one armed bandit, who isn't considered to have a disability, as he wants to continue to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have thought long and hard about going abroad but just don't know anyone to get an honest opinion on it

I have no honest opinion of living abroad but during the 90's and early 2000's I spent a lot of time mainly in Europe I missed nothing sometimes 2 weeks sometimes more but I would always looked forward to coming home. If my family were it may have been different but Yorkshire is good

My other half can go as her work has an office in the states I just don't know where you start in terms trades

I have a mate who bought 2 semi derelict cottages with a derelict shop on the end and is going to do them up.
They Have been stripped out back to 4 walls and a roof, have no drainage or services and he has been landed with a council tax bill. He is not paying and is threatening the council to pull the roof off them and leave them as an eyesore on the main street for 20 years.

America will be facked once the Donald gets in lol

did 6 months over in the US in 82, during the falklands, the folks in the mid west loved the fact we whipped the argies. the only issue is that the yanks dont get our humour, you can get into trouble quickly out there by opening ones mouth at the wrong time, bit like over here 🙂. foods cheap, clothes are cheap housing is awful unless you like shed living in the middle of America, cars were great fun, cops were ok unless you ****ed them off (very quick to pull out their weapons) they work in feet n inches, Montana and the rockies would be my choice of where to live, avoid Texas unless you like half a cow on your plate as they do not understand brit humour or anything if truth be told, plus it was one of the states I had a gun drawn on me (highway patrol, doo not take your hands off the wheel and jump out the car when they pull you over!!) the other was North Dakota, dont fall out of a bar and land on a police cruiser 🙂 Loved the place, if I was 30, i would be off no questions asked.

Very nearly went to Canada in 1989/90. Just delayed a few months over paperwork, then Mrs S fell pregant with Miss S.

Whilst my parents already had 8 granchildren, it was Mrs S's parents first (and for 20+ years, only) grandchild, and we didn't have the heart to separate them. Back in those days, air fares were pretty high, compared to wages.

Miss S is just coming up 25, and according to my calculations, if things had fallen out differently, I could have bought British Columbia, most of Manitoba, and put in a damn good offer on Alberta!

The under 30s might be able to get on the housing market now
As if the boomers and btl crowd haven't made enough money out of housing to pay the taxes
Im not bitter though

I love my country. I'd happily wave off anyone who wants to leave. They all come crawling back to use the nhs when it suits.

Stuff like the NHS is the few things that make it worthwhile staying. Don't get me wrong I am patriotic and love my country. In terms of work and quality of life though I have second thoughts

if I went, you wouldn't know what to do with yourself..

You wanna lay money on that?

When are you 2 going to announce your love for each other to the rest of the world?

Only married couples talk to each other this way.

If you two moved to California, for example, you could marry each other - legally.

You could have a wedding, stream it live, and we'd all be watching with our box of tissues.

I'm sure it will be beautiful.

You could arrange for Megan to be the flower girl

What`s the situation on same sex marriage in Australia? It`s legal in England but like the idea of them moving to California with Megan as the flower girl.

Only if he wears the dress. Then I'd elope with Megan at the last possible minute. She seems to like me.

Poor deluded girl....

I'm not sure on the legalities of same sex marriage over here.
It on and off the news constantly.

Personally, I would rather watch paint dry than get into the complexities of whether same sex marriage is legally, morally, immorally, politically, sociably or religiously acceptable

For some strange reason, I thought you would be wearing the dress.

Not so strange really when .................

more the image of you in female attire, I was never one for wearing dresses, just liked taking them off their owners. You issues are you seem to like keeping the ones you took off the fuller females...
