just been to service a WB greenstar 28 fsn, what a mess.

long storey short, the flue was not fixed down onto the boiler correctly, the normal 3x machine screws are missing. Does anybody 1, know if you can buy these 3 x screws as a spare part? 2x what the size is of said machine screw?

i was think they are m6 x 35mm at a guess. sods law i chuck some away last week when i cleaned out the van🙁

other things wrong with the boiler was, flue not patched, blow off not turned back, condense terminates down wall, no installer details, benchmark not filled out, a bucket of brick dust inside the boiler, case was not fitted and sealed correctly, case srews missing. I felt sorry for the tennant's as they have a new born.

Part number 8-716-107-224-0 is the seal and screw kit but not sure these are in it, check first. If all else fails I have some pm me your address and I'll post them.

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for the reply. I stole some screws off another boiler in the end, thank you for the offer of the screws mate.
