worcester combi DHW pressure

I was over a friends place yesterday and he was talking about how bad his hot water pressure was. I fitted a waterfall tap to his bath some months ago and the hot water shot out of the tap a few feet before hitting the bath.
He has 6bar-standing pressure and 20ltr/m flow.
The boiler of a worcester junior 28kw and not all that old, I was puzzled as he said his partner called out Worcester to have a look and all he did was plug his computer into the boiler and fiddle with a few things and gave it clean bill of health.
I checked the filter on the DHW and found it to be blocked with white crud. I cleaned it out but it really didn’t make any deference to the water flow.
I suspect the DHW heat exchanger but as it’s still under warrantee I told him to call Worcester out again.
Is there anything else it could be?

Too much flow?
A 28kw combi will heat about 10 lpm by 35 degrees

Cheers scott I agree however it's not the temperature that's the problem it's the flow on the DHW.
Everything was fine with hot pressure and a few weeks ago he mentioned that the hot pressure was dreadful, it's the first time I have had time to pop over since fitting the taps and was staggered by the dribble that came out of the tap.
All hot water taps are effected by the way

Yep, 6 bar & 20 litres per minute does not make much different when the hot comes from a 28kw combi.... I always find the bath taps look like a dribble of water but its just the way it is...

Humm I know that it's down to the ability of the combi however as I said when I fitted the waterfall tap the hot shot out two foot before it fell to the bath.. now it dribbles. ?

Oh well I will wait to see what Worcester engineer has to say to my friend on Monday.

Well the Worcester engineer arrived and after a more thorough investigation this time found it to be a blocked heat exchanger.
and now the hot water was as before and shoots out of the waterfall tap two foot before hitting the bath.
All is restored.

I think it's important in forums to put the solution to the problems in as well as just advice as to what the issue could be.

Well the Worcester engineer did turn up Monday and had a closer look at the boiler, shame he didn't look closer on the first day.
It was the DHW heat exchanger that was blocked. He changed it and all is now well in my friends house. Water pressure is back to normal and he can run a bath and not have to wait for an hour for it to fill.

It is indeed but all reading this in the future should be VERY aware that it is illegal to remove the case of this boiler unless you are a gsr.
