Worcester FW100 Weather Compensation Controller

i have been asked to fit one of these, to be honest its the first time.... I've read up a little about them, outside sensor on a north facing wall - programmer inside etc etc. My question is - do you still have an inside room stat ? or does it use the outside temp to determine the inside? everything I've read on the worcestor website points to not using a inside room stat.

any experiences with this controller ? and any tips - the last 3 jobs i have quoted on have all asked for them.

I've done one boiler with one of these, it was a few years ago but I seem to remember it being a nightmare to get working correctly.

with no stat boiler modulates on outside temp only, needs room stat as well to comply with part L
