hi,i have just had a worcester greenstar 24i mkv boiler fitted about 3 months ago and after a couple of weeks it started to make a bang,sometimes loud sometimes not so loud,this happens randomly a couple of times a day that we know of,we think it is when the boiler is kicking in but not that sure,any ideas would be greatly appreciated.thanks.🙁

As said the best thing is to give Worcester a call after all they have a nice long warrantee with em.

Right here we go,engineer came out and didn't really have a clue, he adjusted something and now the water takes a while to come out hot!but the banging dos'e not happen as much,also when we empty the bath we get a gurgling sound coming from the boiler itself,don't know if this helps but the boiler was fitted about 4 months ago and a new bathroom about two months ago.

Check the 'Eco' button is not illuminated on the boiler... This is the boilers hw pre heat & speeds up heated water to the taps!

Gurgling from boiler is plumbing waste pipework fault not boiler, it sounds like the bath is creating a back pressure & making the condense trap gurgle away!
