Hi, I am new to the forum, but need some assistance. The digistat for my boiler appears to be broken and will not interlink with the boiler. I have turned this off and can override the boiler to turn it on so we have heating, but is there anyway I can turn it off when I leave the house or go to be or we will have a hugh gas bill.

Also will a MK11 Thermostat be compatible I we order a new one

Many thanks

Hi I am no expert, but a fairly quick learner.
Also I may kick start your thread.
Firstly are the batteries ok, in the digistat?
Second if you are pressing the continuous button on the front of the boiler, then you will have too press the off button as well to turn it of.
Third, a worcester device is usually always compatible.

Yeh change the batteries first. The continuous button on the boilers receiver is the hot water pre heat so the only thing controlling the heating is the thermostat dial on the left hand side.
The mark 11 will work with that boiler although the digistat is a far better controller or the digistat optimiser. I see they've the new wave that looks pretty smart.

Hi there no learn plumb the controller that the op has is a digistat. What that is is a wireless controller and the receiver gets plugged into the boiler and on the receiver is the option for setting a timer for a pre heat function for hot water. R choices on off timed or once . (Like a standard timer but just for hot water) the wireless digistat is where u have the option for controlling the CH but because he's lost connection the only control over CH is the boiler thermostat.
Here's his controller.
