Has anyone seen this configuration before with zone valves installing under the floor in the joist area with an access trap. Not ideal I know. Is for zoning a downstairs drop system and upstairs 15mm up though the floor. Boiler in the kitchen with pipes exiting upwards from the boiler via stand a stand of clip to the ceiling void. Another option is the zone valves above the boiler with a autobypass before. Thanks

Seen it once at my brothers in law’s house, not sure if he did it though, really old system.
