Hi All
Just recently with no changes to the system i am daily having to bleed upstairs rads. Its a vented system with CW Feed and expansion tank.pipe work & plumbing are original (approx 20yrs old )however new boiler, pump ,hot water valve ,stats and programmer 2 yrs ago all fitted by qualified plumbers. system has been fine till now.Does not seem to be any leaks anywhere. when I put my finger over the vent pipe i get a small vacum so I am assuming this is how air is entering system.I think this also results in water being forced back into the expansion tank and it then overflowing .Any help would be good

give your plumber a call to take a look.

has the pump speed been altered?
check for blockages in cold feed and between fill and vent

and welcome to the forum.
