I have tried searching for threads regarding this fault but keep coming up with closed threads, can anyone point me in the right direction with this appliance, it's my bosses old house which he now let's, don't normally do faults but because it's his ,he sent me out.

E133 - Failure to ignite - On older models built pre 2010, the ignition electrodes warp with the heat. They are now re-designed and much better. As a temporary fix, bend them back to make the gap the thickness of a pound coin. put a blow torch on first or they will snap off!

Ive had this a few times if i recall on the ones i worked on was spark generator

If its the electrodes warping, which I have had a number of times, the boiler often goes to lockout when it re starts after being on for some time.

Is this the fault code that can mean anything ? Could be water in diverter motor, electrodes, spark generator, PCB, all it means is boiler doesn't work

When I arrived the boiler had been running then gone to lockout again, hopefully new electrodes may do it.

try bending old ones first with heat.
if they snap then get new ones anyway but it might solve diagnosis.

You should be able to fit a £1 coin between them.
