The Problem: I put the dishwasher drain pipe into the exit pipe (see pics) and I sometimes get water overflow out of the top of the exit pipe.

The Solution: ???

the drain should be lower than that with a fall on the pipe, 2 your end where you put your hose should be longer be for it hits a bend.
 
Worth trying just extending the vertical waste pipe as high as you can. Then it has more capacity to receive a higher flow and a higher pressure at the exit. It might lean against the copper pipe though so needs a bracket near its top, or fix against copper pipe in some way.
