Hi all,

Perhaps someone can help.. Went to service a boiler which is fitted in an annex, the gas is coming off the meter in the main house near the annex but there is no AECV fitted in the annex. The gas pipe comes into the property up an external wall, through the sofit and under the floor upstairs then down to the boiler and the hob. There is no where I can fit the AECV except outside up the wall. Is it okay to fit an external AECV?
Should it be covered?

Thanks.
