Help!!!!!!!!!!Can anyone advise me how to wire up a Drayton SCR unit. There is a live/neutral/earth from the mains and from the boiler a red/blue/earth & a yellow!!! cable. I've no idea what goes where. Can anyone tell me what wire goes in which hole, please.

I wire then from the feed into the receiver. Live in L neutral in N and earth to earth. I then take my live neutral and earth for the boiler from the same l,n and e on the backplate. For the switch I believe it's 1 and 3 on the backplate to your 2 connections on the boiler.

oh dear. do you know what they were connected to on the previous programmer? If you don't need to look at the connections inside the boiler, which your not allowed to do unless gas safe.

if you had to make a guess how would you wire it up with those four cables?

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...

We are from Alberta, and I own an electrical company. I have been asked by a BC Mechanical P. Eng. to install an emergency STOP button at the man-door to the boiler room. It's intent is to 'halt' the operation of the boilers in the room should there be an emergency. He is demanding that I do...
