My builder says there is no way to tighten these so he's just secured with silicon.
Surely this isn't right?
 
Picture would help, but My builder says there is no way to tighten these means he or she,, hasn't read the instructions, or is not familiar with the fixing, or is unable to recognise the wrong fixings have been supplied or more.
And cannot be bothered to sort it out.
