Yep most places I work are around the 50-75 mbar mop but mip can vary anywhere from 75mbar to 1 bar depending on what's around
Reading treloar gas book commercial side. The tightness test is quite something
Have a look at purging
I have talked to 4 people now and they don't know any figures just that the pressure in the mains gas pipe in the road is low pressure. Very frustrating
G/u65 meter defo commercial
No MOP or MIP stated on it though
No label or data tag near by?No MOP or MIP stated on it though
There you go mip 75 mbar
Mop 23
So test would be 82.3 so 83mbar so you could test the mdpe at 100 mbar
Upto you as it's not connected you could say your only testing the pipe for defective not carrying gas
Think mine is 75mbI wonder what pressure my kane455 goes upto
Ive not read all the post but the below will have a connector to suit
Leak Testing fittings
Interesting tools. Don't think I could find one for the diameter of pipe though
try these they will be cheaper
Modus Gauges Limited
Any pics?So went to pressure test this job but the pipe was not installed to regs. They had run yellow mdpe into the building which if I remember correctly is a no.
I do know the gas board do this though when replacing the mains to the meter inside the house with mdpe by pushing it up the old pipe.
Any pics?
