Pressure testing 63mm gas pipe

Hi, I actually know very little at this stage. I have asked the guy what the pipe is going to be used for and he will let me know today.

Will I get those from whoever suggested putting in a 63mm pipe?

Have a look at the meter should be labelled on the info board

No meter, there. Not even a building as of yet. Just a 63mm gas pipe in a trench

Have to talk to the networks then

If the test is only to make sure there's no defects in the pipe 1 bar air should be good enough then later on you can do all your calcs in regards to strength and tt

It is just checking for defects before it gets buried

So no meter there yet and no carcass. It will be a supply from meter to 3 radiant heaters in what will be a smiths toy shop

Anyone know if the philmac 32mm gas fitting will take a 32mm copper pipe

Any idea on how to go from mdpe gas to copper. Cannot find any philmac which mention this. Seems like quite tricky to get connection on this pipe to pressure test it.

32mm to 11/4 or 11/2 female iron

11/4 or 11/2 to 35mm comp male iron

No am not. I thought it would be ok to just test this pipe doesn't have any leaks in before it gets buried. I am not doing anything else on this job.
