This isn’t in private gas section and they’ve got my details through registration but I’ll forward them anyway thanks
Yeah there's a public gas section where anyone can ask for advice but we have a private section so joe public can't read about gas works and attempt it himself.

I wasn't been funny but forum rules have to be followed and I felt you was talking about the work more than you should.

I understand but use experience come on the pipe is coming from the left, how big is the electrics behind cooker and they could be below kickplates/behind gyproc etc We can’t tell all but what we can advise is it can be done, seriously op please try to now confirm, kinghorn is a nice part of the country I’m guessing that’s location lol

It’s not me looking for help lol As stated i gave it on registration, is there an administration error don’t worry I’ll forward it

Well there we go then! I’ve got my answer.

All I wanted to know is if it could be done. Thanks to everyone for their replies.

I am actually Sunderland based, but Kinghorn is a lovely place in fife and my family are from Scotland.

Anyone know any top notch gas engineers in Sunderland?

I do not think the system works like that mate. It has to be given in directly.

Are they from Edinburgh by any chance? Also, when I say it can be done, it can. But I wouldn’t advise for it to be done like @Dake205 has stated. That isolation valve needs to be accessible and not blocked in.

Seems daft as I’ve commented all night what seems to be the correct answer imagine if I gave it wrong

Harvest fields he’s stated Sunderland lol the oven is removable and that’s a soldered valve wonder what’s the connection to hob lol don’t make me do it

Yes well move it bellow the kick plate lol it doesn’t need to be there, please explain how you could service/access the underside of a hob without removing oven as clearly the top can’t be removed on its own

Not really a productive answer mate. What you are saying is just not how it is supposed to be and this forums prides itself on good solid advice.

So please clarify what are you saying, an oven has maximum 4 screws and is removable, this installation is Rubbish, I’ve gave you an opinion that doesn’t meet your criteria but I’ve also explained that a hob can’t be properly opened/repaired without access below and asked you is that correct, and if that is so how bad are you now going to look in this open forum providing advice
