I desperately need a replacement BSP stopcock - can any one suggest a supplier or source ??

The plumber describes it as follows '1/2 inch brass stopcock with two 1/2 inch brass ferrules, with two nuts that screw onto the stopcock (thread on these is apparently not 1/2 or 3/4 inch BSP)'.

The stopcock is not the female type, but male with these nuts that screw onto the stopcock and attach the brass pipe
with the ferrules.

Any professional advice you c CIMG0620.jpgan give would be much appreciated - ideally a replacement stopcock or alternatively some conversion fitting to attach to the existing pipe.

Thanks for the bad news - I was hoping that some one could tell me of a supplier or old plumber who had one tucked away in their stores............. any suggestions ???

It is a half inch drifted fitting. Copper to copper.
No one will have any of these in stock as they were last fitted around the 60's.
Best bet is a scrappies if they will let you rake through the brass.

There is no need to replace like for like. You have enough room to cut it out and fit a new one,
