Baxi duo tec fault

Hi guys just wondering if anyone can help with fault on baxi duo tec.fault code for low pressure e119 keeps coming up on boiler and I cannot reset the fault . the pressure is ok . I phoned baxi who said it would be fault on pcb which has been replaced and still the same problem .going through mi it suggests water pressure switch just wondering if any one had same problem .i am gas safe registered but usually do installs and not repairs so any info would be great as job is for friend and don't want to keep chucking parts at it cheers in advance

duotec 1 or 2 . i would check press sw first

Hi srgs ... Sounds unusual for baxi to direct you towards the pcb??? They'd ask you to check the pressure switch first! It is the more likely suspect. On older boilers I've had pressure gauges block up giving you the impression that there's plenty there but there's ziltch! If you're not confident in repairing it though try and go along with someone who can fault find and maybe pick up a few tips? 🙂

Yeah I thought it strange as mi said pressure switch but I just went with baxi as thought they would know there boilers better than me especially as normally only do basic repairs. I try water pressure switch tomorrow and thanks

Check the state of the water in the system when you drain in srgs.... These switches are pretty reliable IMO 🙂

if duo tec one remove the 2 blue wires from the press switch and link them to bypass the press sw . if boiler works its the press sw or blockage - do put wires back as they were though

i know that baxi have had a lot of problems with pcbs on the duotecs. maybe this is why they said pcb straight off. brother inlaw fitting them in council jobs, so has fitted loads of them with a lot of pcb replacements. dont know if its your prob but worth bearing in mind.
