It has about ten year I lived on a council estate , the council knocked two semi s into one 6 bedroom 2 bathroom house for a family of Immigrants and kitted it out.

2 month later they sold everything in house bought a mini bus and did one.

i know because I still have the big fridge freezer

A "family" bought an old pub near me, they knocked the pub down & built 10 houses on the site & have called it Salaam Close! Each house supposedly has 4 bedrooms, reported to be doubles but for the size of the houses this is impossible! The exact number of people living in each house is unknown, but it's rumoured to be 10+!

There were no "British" builders allowed on site, only those with a same religion to the family!!

fitting a boiler for an Asian lad, who was having a rental property done out today... Telling me how all apart from gas and electrics was being done by Hungarians. They was all being paid £7.50 each a day, except two who was getting £15 because they was "skilled"

Watching the programme on BBC1 at the moment, makes me sick thinking that their are people living on the streets and in squalor because they lost their jobs in the recession, een though they have paid tax into the system, yet some one who claims to be unable to return to their country of residence for some reason or another get's homed relatively quickly because of the fear of racial or religous discrimination.

its possible mate because people are scared of them. People are frightened to be called racist. I've got no problem with people moving her pe for a better life but they've got to start from the bottom like the rest of us.
When I lost my job a few years ago, I went to the job centre to see if I could get any help with buying a van and tools etc, I didn't need the money at all but I thought I'd try as I'd been working full time and paying tax for 8 years at the time. I was laughed out of the door by some fat moose on a power trip. The worst of it was, that sitting next to me was somebody getting forms filled out for help paying their mobile phone bill.
This country is a joke and people who work hard and graft get **** all and people who are lazy, not from here, junkies or whatever get everything they wish for and more.
I learnt a lot when I lost my job, but the main thing I learnt was that if you work hard in this country and then you need help you just get greeted with a lovely kick in the ball cocks.

Sad times where you can't even speak out without risk of being branded a racist. We spend billions supposidly freeing countries like Iraq from dictatorship only to find we are in exactly the same position in this country albeit in a slightly different manner.

I think racist gets used wrongly I have a few black friends a few asain and a few something else I forget anyway they are not white skinned what I don't like and this is my opinion and not that of a forum is , it goats me were giving these immigrants so much when were not looking after our own and I've been like this since joint the forces and I told them then and ill say it now this country has its fingers in too many other countries pies. It sickens me of what went off in ww1,2 and what they fought for to see how we now treat the elders that were there

im not aiming that at any particular faith or race their all bleeding lazy and feckless.
especially the young ones that think playing call of duty all day is a career choice and it does my head in sometimes.

i did a quote new boiler replace 7 rads and upgrade gas pipe. quote £1800.00 his answer was i only £1100.00

i did wonder why i was bothering to be self employed at that point.

That all started when the polish came over. I do landlord certs and they have the house full. No wonder they can do it cheaper. And it brings down our standard off living.
