Just got in & still got another job to look!

Hope you all choke on your nice drinks & nice food!!
 
Did you try the angle grinder? That's what I use (carefully) to remove them, saves a new loo but makes a hell of a mess!

I did have a cheeky one without ice or coke before I settled to having the coke!

harks back to my rock climbing to heavy metal days....

Maiden, Metallica, Sabbath and a cheeky touch of Van Halen.

Then back to where we were camping for food, camp fire and a bottle of jack daniels passed around.....

Spent 3 days at Global Gathering in 07, consumed vast amounts of alcohol & savoured a few other delights! My best memory was sitting in a tent with a load of complete strangers & we were all absolutely smashed but totally chilled & happy! The music would be going on till about 4am & we stayed up all weekend just drinking, smoking & popping!

Aaaah the memories of the young care free days! Every time I sip a Jack it takes me back to that field!!
 
just got in burst lead pipe where it comes through footings on terrace house - landlord asks will I dig up pavement and connect new pipe to stop tap in pavement . left him there told him I have an appointment with a stella (stella artois)
 
I need to have a word with myself! I'm 24, it's Friday night and I'm sat at the PC talking to plumbers whilst eating rice cakes! Where did my life go wrong?

I don't know what's worse,

Eating rice cakes or the fact that you don't think the UKPF is the centre of the universe?!?

Combi boiler service for me, plus a fire installation is all I done today. Easy day tbh.

Nah.

The correct way to drink JD is to keep a bottle of coke in the fridge, but with the top off, so it goes flat.

Then mix the JD exactly half and half with the flat coke (no ice). A pint glass is ideal. 🙂

Well i had a shyt kind of a day but i really enjoyed it and it payed excellent.
Phone call last night for a choked toilet. Nothing much planned for today and it is a job i wouldn't usually do but why not. Called in this morning about 10 one look at it, its the main drain (bungalow and coming up the shower), lifted the manhole and it is full of shyt stew and collapsed.
Cleaned it out and rebuilt the manhole. A stress free day. Won a watch.

I'm still getting the odd whiff of shyte tho :lol:

Might I suggest the Laphroaig my dear sir? The fine peaty aroma should nullify the lingering smell of shyte.
