Intermittent fault, changed Pcb but still locks out every so often.works once reset for couple of days Bp and working press all ok it's either ignition or overheat lock out. But when there works great. Also removed restricting ring from vertical flue. Any one any ideas ??????

Checked ign leads, thermistors, hex for restrictions, harness for splits/cracks ?

check the F G A readings and adjust accordingly.my customer had to repeatedly reset in the morning and it would run fine for the rest of the day.the readings were not to mfi,s.adjusted and have not had a problem since.
No real pattern but customer not using heating at moment. Found there was no permanent live to boiler (only sw live) so pump over run was not coming on. So with it being 15 years old I suspect the hex is a little furred up and due to no pump over run its perhaps o/heating. Fitted perm live now and only time will tell.
Oh well it wasn't the pump over run. Actually saw it the other day and it was not cross lighting the burner sometimes. Flame rec is at rear so was locking out on ignition. New gas valve in as burner, injector etc was all ok. Fingers crossed again. I hate things like this makes me feel like I'm guessing.ignition is so much quicker and smoother now though so think I've cracked it.
