No, not that sort. :nono: Looking around on the internet, head seems to be measured either from the surface of the water in the cold tank down to draw off point, or from the bottom of the cold tank.
Which one is correct?

A good friend and fellow gas engineer of mine who is not currently a member of the forum (at least not with gas safe private forum access) has been to a British gas 330+ / Glow worm (not a hxi this one has an aluminium heat exchanger).
The Boiler has an Ignition fault, when firing the burner...
Can't fathom this one - what d'ya think? Water is pulled from toilet u bend, have replaced the durgo valve, tried it with no valve and tried it with vent pipe sealed - no difference, water is pulled out over apx 30 mins.

Hi,

Hi,
I've recently bought a house. The bathroom as a shower head on the sink.
Would it be possible to cap this off? If so, what tools/pieces would I need?
Also, would the water need to be turned off completely when taking off the shower head?
Thanks
Evening all, been to yet another leaking Ideal Isar 24, pump head gasket/seal. Tried resealing but to no avail. Is this available as a stand alone spare part or as part of a kit? Many thanks.
Just want to say good luck to Ray Stafford and his team for tomorrow. The first day in your new branch and head office complex at Fareham.
Sorry I can't pop in to see you, some of us have work to do in Gosport, but will see you and the new coffee machine soon!
Im quoting for a new boiler but noticed the tank outlet is about 4 metres above the pump. I cant find in my books anything to prescribe when to use a pressure reducer. Anyone have any guidance? Doesnt appear to be in the MI.
Thanks
Im quoting to replace a boiler (oil) and its currently got a twin head pump arrangement which seems to work ok. Shall I leave as is, or should I replace with Y plan (or even S plan I guess..).
OK I give up, I've spent ages looking for this but can't find one. A chrome shower head with a nozzle or head that can be angled in different directions but which also has a bottom inlet for surface mounted pipework. Any suggestions please post details.
Thanks

Hi,
Was having a read the other night and "the penny dropped" Not sure if I'm right though.
Example: If I gas rate an appliance say an old combi boiler I get a gas rate in Gross which I then have to convert to Net because of latent heat (Something like 11% of heat is lost in flue gases)
My...
I'm all googled out. Old chap has grey everything in his bathroom but the basin tap is knackered the old heads won't fit on modern revivers. He doesn't mind what type of tap (single pillar though, not mixer) or what shade of grey as there are various shades of grey in there, but it's kind of a...
