Hi! I live in a rented flat with a Logic Heat 15 boiler. It's been installed for about a year, but just in the past two weeks it started acting up... making loud bangs that sound like someone's set off a firework, and often shutting itself down and displaying F2 or L2 errors. The repairs are the...
Hi all
I have had a ideal logic plus boiler for over 2 years now and it's been perfect.
I have had it serviced every year and the book has been signed and dated etc so it's all OK. The problem is that last time it was serviced the guy has forgot to reset the date on the boiler and now it's...

Hi guys,
i had my Ideal logic fitted just over 2 years ago and apart from a fan swap I've had no issues until now and I don't even know if this is an issue, let me explain.
i know or guess that I've got a very slight leak in my piping but think it's under a floor somewhere as I've I get air in...
Called out today to above boiler. Heating fine but no hot water. Hall sensor is flasing red when demand for hot water but thats it. the motorised head moves fine for central heating but nothing for hot water. Could the head still be faulty if it moves for heating? any help appreciated.
In passing, it was mentioned that when the system's drained down, it would benefit it if I took the rads off and sort of jiggle them round and run a garden hose to help clear them through before a flush was done but, and unless I'm not understanding how a flush works, shouldn't the chemicals and...
Hello, I'm a complete beginner when it comes to central heating and after reading the various instructions (which I'm pretty sure I've followed correctly) I can't seem to get the radiators to stop turning on.
I have a Danfoss TP9000MA-si installed next to a Logic heat 15 boiler. The water...
Hi Guys
Re decorating the kitchen and found an external gully almost directly under the boiler location.
Apparently the previous owner/installer didn't realist was there, because they ran the condensate into pump/trough and then up into the roof space and over to the kitchen sink!
I have...
We had this problem a few months ago, where we had heating but no hot water, and the problem was solved by one of the methods (not sure which as we did all of this at once and it could have been any of them or none of them) - I changed the batteries in the (Honeywell wireless) thermostat...

Hi guys, I changed a pcb on an ideal logic 30 as it was stuck on l2 fault, after testing and getting no power at gas valve. I got it all going fine, apart from on hw. When you run the tap nothing registers on the boiler, I took the turnine out and checked it was moving freely, but im not really...
Am I right in thinking that to get the flue out of this boiler,
the boiler needs lifting of the wall to acces the support bracket.
The flue is connected to this, there is no other way of getting to the flue??
it is currently dripping at the seal/conection in the back of the boiler.
Hi
I am losing about 1 bar of pressure a day on my heating system. I have read loads of posts with suggestions about what the problem could be. There are no obvious leaks although unable to check hidden pipework but no obvious damp patches etc.
I have tried to check whether the pressure...
Hi Guys
Just after a few pointers not really done a lot of faultfinding on boilers but been too a friends who has a ProCombi Exclusive installed in his house. Which i believe is just an Ideal Logic, he realized that the pressure was dropping around 1 BAR every week. He has kept a keen eye out...

Hi, has anyone used an Isar pressure gauge on a Logic?
Spoke to my local plumbers merchant and the bloke said the local council do this when they can't source parts for the Logic. The part numbers are different but he seems to think they're compatible.
Asked Ideal and they just stuck to...
So a f1 fault code appeared today on my boiler and I looked in the manual which said it was a pressure problem.
I reapplied the pressure so the gauge read 1.5 and then bleed the radiators. The pressure originally read 1.2
There was a lot of air in them which drained the pressure gauge close to...
just brought a expansion vessel in from the van to check its the right one for a job mid week, its for a 105 in a baxi box,my 11 year old daughter asks what is it dad.looks like a pizza box,so shows her the vessel and explains what it does, now we have a potteron performa condenser ,so she knows...
Basically after fitting new pvc piping to old 22mm copper there seems to be little/no flow from the hot water tap after reconnection and it appears to be brownish water for first second or so?
