    Are pump types interchangeable?

Hi there good people. I have a small issue, I've incorrectly connected a connecter on the PCB of my old boiler back to front, and seem to have broken my pump, since learning my mistake I have put it the right way, it is drawing out about half the current it should. To keep a long story short...

Pipe size for heat pump system

Help me understand this pump curve

This pump curve is from a combi boiler with an internal automatic bypass valve. Why is the maximum flow obtained with the bypass valve in the middle position? Shouldn't a fully closed bypass valve result in a higher flow through the main circuit? Also, any idea what 'V1' and 'V2' mean (no...

    What's better than one pump?

Went to a small hotel we put new boilers and cylinder in last year as they were complaining about no hot water and heating on the top floor. I should add that's all we did as I thought the existing systems needed total ripping out and starting again but they didn't want to spend the money. Hot...

Air-to-Air or only Air-to-Water Heat Pump?

In my new high efficiency house, I will have UFH with an Air to Water (A2W).
