15mm to 6mm Reducer

Can anyone point me in the direction of a supplier that stocks a 15mm to 6mm reducer?

I am installing a new central heating radiator in a different area of the room and the original pipe work is 6mm.

Jeez, I have never seen 6mm! Are you sure it's not 8mm?

your local merchants should do it. i think plumb centers have them.

are you sure its only 6mm? sounds like a recipe for a blockage.

Just checked again it's 6mm. The system was already installed when I bought the house. The system is spread over three floors and it looks like that the 6mm has been used when it had to be run under the floor. All the pipe work from the basement to the other floors is 15mm then goes down to 6mm.

6mm was used in the 70's. Mainly on solid fuel systems. It is quite rare to see it.

You should consider re piping it as the heat carrying capacity is very low.
