Hi all, renovating an old house at present which is full of lead piping. I am removing the bath and putting stop ends on pipes for time being to knock down a wall.

I am not into my plumbing, screwfix sell stop ends for copper and plastic piping only - what alternative stop end do I need for lead piping? I have attached an image. Thanks in advance v

I think the only way you can do this is with a lead loc fitting to transition to copper then use a normal stop end

Lead lock compression fitting, short bit of 15mm copper and a cap at the end, if it's tank fed you may be able to squeeze it off as a temp measure.

Just take your hammer and bash the end over and tight if its tank fed
If not lead lock and small section of copper to stop end although id just remove the lead all the back to the stop tap or the connection in the street preferably
