Hi there, this is my first post in this forum so hopefully someone can help me out. Over the past few days the pipes have been banging when the toilet has finished flushing. Also there is like a whistling noise when I put my taps on. I have read a few forums and it seems that there maybe some air in the system. I have a Worcester bosh boiler, around 7 years old. I just need to know how to bleed the system to get the air out so if anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it. Cheers, Mick.

welcome to the forum.

Is the toilet connected to the boiler???
are the pipes rattling as in not clipped very well?
describe the noise/symptoms clearer
where are you wanting to remove air from??

have a look inside the orifice of the toilet ballvalve, could be youve got a bit of muck in there and its causing the pipes to vibrate and buzz as the valve closes off. Could also be the stop tap washer wearing out and causing water hammer.

These posts tickle me... No offence Mickyboy1977 but you haven't got a clue! 🙂

Hopefully you have some good friends or relatives who know a plumber who can help you!
