Hi guys. In need of around 12 metres corrugated stainless tube for gas run. Anyone know of alternatives to trac pipe and where to purchase. Needs to be 28mm. I see screwfix do an inch one but on the installation manual looks like you need a special tool.

You would have to ask gas safe and manufacturer on that

But I can’t see why not aslong as it’s gas tight eg glued

I believe as well that it should be fine as you can use it to sleeve through walls and it is mentioned as being able to hold natural gas.

Tha is for your help as always.

Well I tell you what. I had a right mare with this stuff today. Didn't know you needed a big cutter to cut this. Used a hacksaw and could not get a seal on it. Massive spanners to do the fittings up and I only had big old stillsons and not enough space. Wish I had gone the copper route in the end.
