Ariston genius required

Hey guys got a fault on a ariston e combi 30.

40 60 80 light flashing. Boiler fires for a few seconds and doesn't rectify so I changed leads, spark assembly and ionisation probe worked flawlessly for a week now same fault returning intermittently, checked all connections. Anybody got any experience with these boilers we have very few in Telford :/

drop this guy a pm he is a service engineer for them can also sell you spares Dean's Ariston Boiler Spare Parts,personally i would check for reversed polarity if you have tested the lead and probe you possibly have a pcb issue

I was thinking pcb. And reverse polarity will check that. 🙂

I checked the wiring it all looked ok. checked the connections were all made properly! Have you had some harnesses fail? if so where abouts?

what was the condition of the probe? any signs of oxidation?

Yea a little bit.

i had customer with ariston microgenus, cleaned probe once, after month oxidated so replaced, in month time same problem. maybe its related to your problem. however customer sold house so didnt go back to check for cause but aritson technical pointed to humidity coming either from flue or hex. hope you sort it out mate.

Check for induced voltage on wires from apc
