Looking for help Y'all,
Was looking at an Ariston micro genus 24 which had a fault code A05 on it which seem's one of the most common. Tried new electrode but no good so ordered new pcb. Installed this evening and fires up ok but display is not displaying temperature properly. Stuck in the old board, display works ok ie shows fault code A05 and won't stay lit. Is there anything I could check? There's an EPROM key on it, should that be taken off old board and put onto new one? Has anyone ever got faulty new board? Ordered it through Heat Merchants, if it is faulty will they take back board or say it was something I did?
Any thoughts or help greatly appreciated. I'm going to ring tech support in morning but they're not the greatest of help!
