Not so good for customer relations or repeat work though. Dont want to be a bodge it and scarper man.
I subby to the fastest growing construction company in the UK. Did they ask for certs? Nope they asked if i would work for the price and was i available ....
Which companys this pal ? Laing o'rouke ?
Oh nice ! My view is why do we pay likes of chekatrade and all them just to show our certs !
Too many cowboys and DIY handy men on those sites, I refuse to lower myself and advertise alongside them.Personally I won't have anything to do with these advertisers. And as a trade we should boycott them, it's just another bill to pay. Another thing you think you need to have to stay in the game.
IMHO customers don't care about these even when offered in the flesh.
I was wondering more if a dodgy customer might decide to make a false claim if they know you're insured?
Oh ok. But how could they do that?
Suppose, I'm just trying to think of a worst case scenario that might arise from telling the customer you have liability insurance. I think the pro's will obviously outweigh the cons then.A big risk for them surely?
