Might be worth checking minimum pressure/flow rates with the seller before you buy.

Does seem really cheap though. Wonder if you'll end up paying twice?

Then again, if it lasts five years, it's cheaper than spending £100 on a tap which lasts ten years.

ahh rite.... with these waterfall thingy taps if the pressure is to high, do they spray out towards you, or do they spray down in to the basin ?

That is a great looking tap, even at full price it's cheap though, there must be a reason for that.
If it looks too good to be true etc...

My dad has one in his downstairs bathroom and it looks great, but i think the basin could be a little to small for it as when you turn it on it seems to shoot out and hit the inside wall of the basin splashing everywhere. but its fine if you only turn it on a little.

Fitted one exactly like this a few months back.
for the price it felt surprisingly good quality!
It worked well and the finish on the casting and chrome was good - I was surprised that it was actually cast brass not cheap alloy rubbish.

You are spot on about what happens with high water pressure though, I got a very wet groin when first commisioning it...
Make sure you throttle back the water pressure and flow to this tap otherwise yuo will end up wearing as much of the water as goes in the basin.

Not sure if it'll last 5-10 years but overall impressions were good...

Oh yeah, one downside, the flexi tails that come with it are poor... You'd be best factoring in some extra for some better quality ones.
