Can someone please give me a bit of advice here. My hot tap has slowly been twisting the wrong way in recent months. Now it's finally against the wall. I don't want to switch it on for fear I won't get it back off.

The bath is basically attached to the wall so it's next to impossible to get it off. I'm having a nightmare

It seems that the spline, tap serrations or both have started to perish. If it‘s the spine a new tap cartridge will be required, if it’s the tap head serrations then a new tap head or tap will be required
