I have a BAXI Duo-tec Combi 33 HE (installed June 2008) which has started to make some very loud banging noises (kettling I think & so loud the next door neighbour can hear it) when you run the shower or any of the hot water taps for a period of time.
We have had this problem previously but it only used to happen occasionally in the changeover period winter to summer when the heating was not on and you ran the hot water but this has now started to happen every morning when we have a shower and the heating is on.
The shower will also run hot and cold but the heating is all ok, it was suggested that changing the auto air vent on the pump may solve the problem (it was possibly drawing air into the system) and I have done this with no success.

My next option is to ring the Baxi Heateam to get someone out to try and fix this problem, is this a good idea ?

Any advice appreciated.
