E138 ... hmmm ... Does that turn ya tongue green if you lick it? lol

Never heard of it. I'd guess you'd have follow the sequence and see at what point the fault occurs to give you any idea at all 🙂

Yes its just a general code , can mean anything, Baxi told me to turn off main power to boiler leave for a couple of mins switch back on and boiler should reset its self

are you sure its e138 and not e133 no gas as i have every code and theres no e138

ceThanks gays, this code been given to me by the customer over the phone, so I 'm not sure 100%. Just wanted to check with u if anyone come across. Boiler fails to work in the heating mode. Hot water is fine. It seems to me like e168 as well . But will confirm once get there.
thanks

Every e168 I've had has been a pcb fault. Hot water runs fine but when the heating is on demand it doesn't fire and locks up to that error code.

Hi gays , so went to property today and so E168 instead reported E138 , so going to get new PCB. Funny is when u give call to baxi help line
and tell the this code they blame diverter valve motor but not the PCB?!

Maybe some of their own tech people are not even versed in some of the common issues. Bad training or what?
I have been advised by someone who seams to be a bit more clued up that it is a board communication/fault issue and to disconnect power and all board connections for 10 mins and re-establish. If fault persists change the board. I would say 5 out of 6 times I have had to change board with no further complaint.
