Baxi Duo tec

Hi i have a baxi duo tec 28 he combi, hot water works great but when i turn central heating on the temp display rises rapidly and the boiler makes a boiling kettle noise then the burner goes off and error 168 is displayed ??

i belive there is a small filter on underside of boiler which you access through a brass cap this is to pick up crap from system this is from memory as havent work on one for three years
