7 year warranty sounds good, I think I'll be buying one to fit in my in-laws house this year. Do you have to be registered on their works scheme? Cause I will only be buying one. Probably go for a 33kw. What sort of price am I looking at for it gas man?

Baxi could offer a 20 year warranty and it would make no difference as they don't honour it. They try and get out of it at all costs and just end up everyone off in the process.

I've only ever had dealings with baxi warranty call backs once and it was awful. They fixed it then void the warranty on totally made up faults. Luckily I was working for a large firm at they time and they dealt with everything there after.

I know some people don't rate Worcester, but their customer service and warranty calls are second to none from my experience.

I have had it three times with them now. I don't fit Baxi's but I have been called in after the installer has given up and wont help the customer anymore due to Baxi. I have then had to verify the installer was right and Baxi are talking rubbish. I did a powerflush for one customer as Baxi took the boiler off the warranty due to dirty water, it was perfectly clean. They then came back to fix the boiler after the powerflush and said the main heat exchanger and plate to plate are both blocked. They ordered both new heat exchangers but refused to fit. I fitted them and still the same problem, was a dodgy diverter after all. My customer paid me for my time and about 4 months later got the money back off Baxi plus some compensation. The reason I fit Worcester is for the back up service, I have had next to no problems with them but every problem has been solved within 24 hours of the call. Cant ask for more than that.

Oh right. I had a little look in plumb centre today and they're selling them with a 2 year warranty. Which isn't good enough. Glow Worm are now offering a 15 year warranty!!!!!! You pay extra for the boiler, but get 15 years. Only thing is, you WILL need it!

baxi had to improve there warranty i think as you can get a 5year on the main range now! so exstending there warranty keeps peoples opinions that he baxi is the flagship boiler for them!

fair play to to them!
