Yes. You remove the mechanical time clock.

Hi all. I'm just looking at the installation manual for the Ideal Independent+c24 and it says the DHW inlet Needs a provision for expansion. Am I interpreting it correctly by saying it's only required if a water meter is present or a double check valve?
