hiretools

Hi, Fella's it's Hiretools again just wondered if you can help me with this problem that i have. I have an old boiler and cistern, header and expansion system. The problem is a noisy boiler it makes clanging noises when switched on. Any ideas fella's.😕😕😕. P.s I have de-sludged and re-balanced system. All is working as it should be and have no airlocks.(i did a connection from hot to cold via the washing machine and dishwasher hose connections.)

Disconnect boiler from circuit and flush the boiler on its own using all outlets and inlets.

hot and cold hoses together would maybe get rid of air locks from hot water pipe work, not boiler circuit, want make of boiler/model of boiler is it ?

imho

Sorry about the delay gettin back to you guys went out to watch clash of the titans 3-D although there wasn't any 3-d in the film load of rubbish actually. Anyway the boiler is an old thorn jobbi.?. it has a sticker that says it was installed in 1985.😱.I went on the homeserve website and into their fault diagnosis section and it said 2 things. 1) replace the pump(already done.tick).2) the system needs de-scaling. (no tick not done.) so wanted to check with you guy's before i went ahead to do it. sowhat do you reckon fella's any ideas comments would be gratefully recieved.😀😀😀.
