Why would you AR it please explain what kind of risk is it causing ? I’d personally class that as NCS.

Can’t you purchase fire retardant expanding foam nowadays?
I have never heard you need fire retardant foam , who says that .
no probs with it on a condensing model

Tbh it grips my she it that when you install a boiler and one of the last thjng is to mix cement and plaster up.

How you going to slide a rear exit flue out the way to replace an expansion vessel..... obviously the type of boilers that have them behind.
Go the part is obsolete route and get a new boiler lol

Are you really going to turn someone’s gas off for that? I’d make a note on a landlord cert, but with NCS out these days I’d say AR is too strong
