Guys,

I've just had my loft done and had the bathroom installed. I have a aqualiser digital divert shower. I've had an unvented cylinder fitted downstairs on the ground floor where my old boiler mate once stood, just to make sure the water can reach the loft. . . anyway, turned on the new shower and its nowhere near as powerful as the one on the 1st floor which is running at around 16lts a minute compared to 10 lts a min up in the loft, so my question is, would running 22mm up from the first floor right unto the shower connection make any difference (i can still access pipe work and runs) basically changing the 15mm run to 22mm to get the flow rate up?
I did ask my builder to do this originally but have since found out he didn't.

Also the new shower has been set to high flow rate and checked all eco settings were off, the 1st floor shower also has the same shower head.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

No I don't think the increase in size will make much difference. What's the max flow rate the shower gives? There's probably flow restrictors built into the valve.

If there are any iso valves along with the double checks fitted make sure they are full bore.
