I wouldn’t know as I’ve never installed a CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) alarm 😂. Assume you mean CO (Carbon Monoxide), Moving on, I tend to go with the mi’s, can’t see them being that different as they should be following the British Standard.
Sorry C0 alarm yes. It's just one says needs to be 1.5meters form any corners to go to that is hard in some kitchens with all the unit to contend with too

I can’t find the mi’s. Are you sure it’s that distance? It’s usually 1m away from appliance no more than 3m. Can you post a photo or link where it states this 1.5m? Perhaps even contact Status, it could be a misprint.
I'll post a link when I get a new one with the instructions tomorrow.

I follow mi’s, which we fit Aico and they state 1m minimum 3m maximum. If it’s on top of a boiler or on top of a cupboard then that’s the installer being lazy. I’ve also seen mains ones directly above a cooker 🤦🏻♂️
