Interesting. Would there be a problem leaving the front cover off permanently, if it avoids the problem?

No so sure about hat one fixitflav. Wouldn't there be a fire safety issue? What do others thik?

If you make sure there's nothing remotely flammable anywhere near it, I wouldn't expect there's a problem, but interested what others think.
