Hi,

I have been asked to change a indirect cylinder that is plumbed in to a johnson and starley j25-32 mk3 modairflow warm air. I was expecting to find a feed and expansion tank in the loft for this system, but there isn't one. Can anyone please tell me how I can drain down/refill the system so I can change the cylinder.

Thanks in advance

is there a drain off in the warm air unit or on the cylinder. I would shut off main stopcock and drain cylinder that way.

There is no feed and expansion tank to central heating side of system due to it being a primatic cylinder (single feed). there should be a cold water supply to cylinder from a storage cistern.
