Hi All,
First time poster here, so be gentle.

Here's the scenario, I want to pair a Danfoss RX1 Reciever to my Main Combi 30 HE. Even though I consider myself as a confident DIY'er I've hit a brick wall with regards to wiring the terminals on the RX1 to the Main Combi 30 HE.
The Live and Neutral seems straight forward, but I'm at a loss as to the remaining terminal blocks on Thermostat and boiler.

Here are some Pictures that might help.

Any help and guidance would be most appreciated.

Cheers

Picture 3 tells you the boiler and 2 the stat .... its 1 out to 2 in, 3 out to 2 in ... Simples 🙂 Don't forget the earth! 🙂

Welcome to the forum ... I'm sure you'll fathom that one out! By the way ... get it wrong and you could fry the PCB 🙂 may be much more beneficial to call in a pro if you're not that confindent IMHO 🙂

If that last photo is the inside of a modern boiler its a disgrace, its a jumble.

The boiler puts out a MAINS feed out on pin 1 and expects to get it back on pin 2 to start the boiler, once you have taken the link out, therefore pin one cable should go on 2 that's the common on the programmer and the cable going back to pin two should go on the ON (3) connection.

Hope this helps

Just the terminal block come off its mountings happyflyer .. tends to happen when the sparky doesn't leave enough slack for the front to drop down 🙂

Better get the front up fast, hide it all, jeez, I can see what you mean about the terminal strip coming off, there some meaty cable on there now

The fun bits trying to get all the wires back in and screws tightened down fully on the cover

Just to clarify the connections

Stat 3 to Combi 2
with link removed

If boiler has an internal clock make sure it's on permanent as it will override stat.
