Hi,
My boiler (Vokera Linea 24) started leaking water the other day and lost pressure.
I drained the radiators and opened up the boiler. When I refilled it I could see that the water was coming out of a little screw cap on a larger screw cap on the back (top) of my Grundfos 15-50 pump (serial no. 59945502).
After unscrewing the larger screw I noticed there was a piece of metal that should be fastened to a rubber floatating device (or stopcock of some sort). Mine has snapped off and the screw cap and stopcock are no longer connected.
Anyway I replaced the stopcock (unconnected to the top) and used ptfe tape on both the small and large screw ends and replaced them. After refilling the radiators there was no leak. I turned the bleed valve at the front and water came out so I presumed all was ok.
However when I ran the system the pump started but just as the boiler was about to light the 04 warning came which means there is not enough pressure even though the pressure was above 1 bar.
Does anyone have experience with this or able to diagnose the problem?
Appreciate any suggestions on what I might need to do to get the boiler working again?
Thanks Matt
