REDSAW
second time this has happened in about as many weeks.
2 of my customers had lost my number and called another number advertised above mine in haste.
first one was a pensioner with a new flush problem on his downstairs toilet as it was not clearing waste without 2-3 flushes as the water was rotating in the bowl, ''plumber'' attended and told the guy the flush valve needs replacing.
he did this and charged him £135!!. after he left the customer noted that it was still the same, not clearing. he called the guy back and told the customer he was wrong and it worked fine. he then called me as i was next down the list sods law i realised i had been there before and he too remembered me. anyway, turns out there was a flush restrictor bung stuck in the rim of the bowl to one side preventing equal flush. my charge for striping and clearing £60 which was about the same for flush valve..my customer is irish and recons the other 'plumber' is an irish 'gypo'!!.lol
today, customer trying to get hold of me and was ordered by his wife to call in this same guy from the add to fix a leak in the ceiling coming from bathroom rad pipes they called in this guy first thing this morning......
well, lets put it this way..this guy charged them £165...one over pressurized & damaged the boiler & only to find that this 'gypo plumber' had fixed the under floor feed and return pipes with.......500mm flexis!!! (picture coming soon) ffs
the customer said he came in a mitsi shogun, no signage and a amber beacon on the roof****
think trading standards need a knock, any one done that before?
no offense meant to our irish members, just quoting what my paddy customer called him.lol
